Earth-bound Astrophotos of Paul Scowen

with ground-based telescopes (in particular the 60-inch Palomar telescope):

• M1:

  Palomar image of M1, the Crab Nebula

• M16:

  Palomar image of M16,

  open cluster associated with the Eagle Nebula
