More images of M16, M17, and M18

The diffuse emission nebulae with clusters

M16 with Eagle Nebula

(above and slightly right of center),

Omega Nebula M17 (below center),

and open cluster M18 (below M17)

were photographed by Alexander Jäger of the

Interessengemeinschaft Astronomie.

This image was obtained on September 28, 1995 with a 300-mm f/2.8 telephoto

lens, exposed 10 minutes on Scotchchrome 400, from the Roque de Los Muchachos,

La Palma.
